ODRAMACAKU FC IN TURMOIL: FANS DEMAND COACH OKUNI'S EXIT!

West Nile Regional League side Odramacaku FC is currently facing a significant crisis as disgruntled fans and supporters protest the poor performance of their head coach, Okuni Ramanthan. The club's recent winless run has ignited public frustration, with supporters taking to social media, specifically WhatsApp audio recordings, to demand immediate managerial changes and the return of former coach Sadat Viper Lolo.

The situation has reached a boiling point after Odramacaku FC went five consecutive matches without a victory. This dismal run includes four back-to-back draws in the fiercely contested regional league and a recent defeat in the Stanbic Uganda Cup against Oluvu United.

Supporters argue that the team lacks direction and the results under coach Okuni are intolerable for a club with "Mission Big League" drives. The protests, primarily circulating through widely shared WhatsApp audios, highlight a clear disconnect between the current technical team and the fan base, who feel their club is failing its potential.

In a combined voice, the fans are demanding the return of Sadat Viper Lolo, their former head coach who previously led the team to more favorable results last season and even voiced confidence in facing top-tier Ugandan clubs like KCCA or SC Vipers during his tenure.

Lolo's is a popular figure, seen by many as the only man capable of turning the club's fortunes around because of his past good record.

"We are currently facing significant financial headwinds, a situation compounded by the disheartening absence of vigorous support from our loyal fanbase; the future of this great club depends on a collective effort both on and off the pitch. But as a club we are working hard to arrest this situation." Said Mr. Matua Anthony the club chairman in an interview with Weaver Sports West Nile.

As of now, the club's management has not officially given any further information and explanation of whether they will listen to the fans and reinstate Lolo or not. The ongoing silence is only adding fuel to the fire, leaving the club's future in the balance as they steer this difficult period in the West Nile Regional League.

Odramacaku FC, established in 1963, is the oldest football club in West Nile.
