The inaugural Abedi Festive Cup 2025/26 kicked off this November, bringing local teams together in a celebration of talent, sport, and community spirit. From November 25, 2025 to January 1, 2026, this grassroots tournament will showcase some of Northern Uganda’s finest footballers, all competing for glory and a chance to make a lasting impact in their community.
Organized by the passionate Festive Group of Omer, and spearheaded by Chairperson Kenneth Kaunda Okwir (Mr. KK7), this competition promises to be one of the biggest tournament in the region. With a mission to elevate local football, inspire youth, and promote economic change, the Abedi Festive Cup is not just a tournament—it’s a platform for social transformation.

Champions: UGX 1,000,000 + Trophy
1st Runner-up: UGX 500,000
2nd Runner-up: UGX 300,000
3rd Runner-up: UGX 100,000
Individual Awards:
MVP, Top Scorer, Best Coach, Best Goalkeeper: UGX 30,000 each
Best 11: UGX 110,000
Most Disciplined Team: UGX 100,000
Hat-trick Bonus: Quarterfinals onwards, players scoring a hat-trick will receive a match ball to commemorate the achievement.
